We couldn’t have asked for a better way to close the second quarter. Winged IT has been awarded the prestigious Forbes Diamonds 2026 award for the second year in a row.

The official awards ceremony took place in Katowice, where our CEO, Wiktor Tarnawski, and COO, Anna Stolarz, accepted the award on behalf of Winged IT. This recognition places us among the most dynamically growing companies in Poland and confirms the strength of our long-term growth strategy.

About Forbes Diamonds Awards and How We Got Selected

For the 18th time, Forbes Poland and Dun & Bradstreet Poland prepared a ranking of the most dynamically developing companies in the country.

The ranking includes businesses that achieved the highest average annual increase in company value over the last three years. To qualify, companies must demonstrate:

  • Positive financial performance,
  • Strong liquidity,
  • High credibility and business-risk ratings,
  • Timely financial reporting,
  • Continuous growth in company value.

Earning a place in the ranking is therefore no easy feat. Even being selected for consideration is a significant achievement, let alone becoming one of the laureates.

Later, organizations are divided into three categories based on annual sales revenue:

  • Small companies: PLN 5–50 million,
  • Medium-sized companies: PLN 50–250 million,
  • Large companies: above PLN 250 million.

This year, the scale of the competition was enormous, with more than 30,000 companies considered for the ranking.

So, how was Forbes able to identify the very best among them? The answer lies in the methodology. Dun & Bradstreet Poland assessed companies using the renowned Swiss Valuation Method, which combines both asset-based and income-based approaches to determine a company’s value and growth potential. This provided an objective basis for selecting the strongest and most dynamic businesses in the ranking.

Only companies that demonstrated consistent increases in value, maintained positive financial results, and met strict credibility criteria were included in the final ranking.

Katowice and Silesia: A Region Driving Poland’s Growth

The Forbes Diamonds Gala was hosted in Katowice, one of Poland’s most impressive economic success stories.

Katowice and the wider Silesia region have undergone a remarkable transformation over recent decades. Once known primarily for coal mining and heavy industry, the region has evolved into one of Poland’s leading centers for technology, business services, logistics, and advanced manufacturing.

Today, Silesia is home to more than 10% of all Polish companies and continues to attract investment thanks to its highly skilled workforce, modern infrastructure, and entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The region’s success is clearly reflected in the Forbes Diamonds 2026 ranking. Silesia placed second among all Polish regions, with 1,421 high-growth companies recognized for their outstanding business performance. Together, these organizations generated more than PLN 148 billion in revenue.

Katowice has become a symbol of successful economic reinvention, demonstrating how traditional industrial regions can transform into thriving hubs of innovation and international business.
