ElevenLabs has revealed plans to invest $11 million in Poland’s AI ecosystem over the next five years. The global leader in generative AI audio technology is making a significant commitment to the Polish market by opening a new office in Warsaw. This office will serve as ElevenLabs’ European headquarters and Research & Development center, with plans to create 30 new jobs in 2025 and grow the team by an additional 100 employees in the following years.
Why Poland?
This move is more than just business – it’s personal. ElevenLabs was co-founded by Mati Staniszewski and Piotr Dąbkowski, two Polish entrepreneurs who are deeply connected to their roots. They aim to harness Poland’s rich talent pool to build audio AI models and support local culture and education:
“We are investing in Poland because we see tremendous potential here and want to help further develop the AI sector in the country and the region. This is where our roots are – Piotr and I have known each other since school, and we grew up watching movies with Polish dubbing, which actually gave us the initial inspiration to create ElevenLabs and overcome language barriers through AI. We also see the best engineers and talent here, with whom we can build the best audio models in the world. We want to take it a step further by supporting Polish education and culture, and together with local talent and creators, we aim to strengthen Poland’s position on the AI stage.” – says Mati Staniszewski, Co-Founder & CEO of ElevenLabs
