After an intense few days in Canada, the Winged IT team is back in Poland, bringing home fresh insights, valuable international connections, and even more motivation for what comes next.
Following our participation at Web Summit Lisbon last year, this year’s edition in Vancouver gave us another incredible opportunity to represent Poland on the global technology stage. We were proud to once again be part of the Polish National Booth, alongside many innovative Polish companies showcasing the strength and potential of Poland’s tech ecosystem.
Representing Poland at the Polish National Booth
Together with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, and City of Warsaw, we had the opportunity to present Winged IT’s expertise in recruitment and cybersecurity to an international audience of founders, investors, startups, and technology leaders.
We kicked off Web Summit at the Top of Vancouver, a stunning restaurant overlooking the city, where we joined a Business Party focused on networking with local authorities while sharing more about our businesses and the Polish IT market.
Over the course of the event, we spoke with companies from around the world looking for trusted global partners, highly skilled IT talent, and opportunities to expand their operations in Europe. It was inspiring to see how much attention Poland is currently receiving as a rapidly growing technology hub.
One thing was clear throughout the conference: Poland’s voice was strongly present at Web Summit Vancouver. Many businesses and investors approached the Polish Booth specifically to learn more about our market and our talent. Thousands of kilometers away from home, you could truly feel the spirit of Poland and the growing international recognition of Polish innovation.
Special thanks go to Deputy Minister Michał Gramatyka, the Consul General Aleksandra Kucy, and the ever-supportive Michael Dembek, whose presence and help throughout the event were absolutely invaluable.

More Than Business: Discovering Vancouver
While Web Summit itself was packed with meetings, networking, and inspiring discussions, Vancouver also left a lasting impression far beyond the conference halls.
Vancouver is a city where nature feels larger than life. Towering trees, urban rainforests in places like Burnaby, mountains visible from almost every corner, and the Pacific Ocean always nearby — the atmosphere is unforgettable.
We also had the chance to experience the rich culture and art of the First Nations communities, which are beautifully preserved and celebrated throughout the city. It added another meaningful dimension to the entire experience and gave us a deeper appreciation of Canada’s cultural heritage.
And yes… We finally tried Timbits. No trip to Canada would be complete without trying Tim Hortons, and now we fully understand the national obsession with Timbits. Safe to say: we’re fans.
Looking Ahead
Web Summit Vancouver was the perfect combination of global business, inspiring conversations, and the unique energy of Canada’s Pacific coast. We’re grateful to everyone who visited us at the Polish National Booth and took the time to connect with our team.
And we’re not slowing down. Already on June 8–10, Winged IT will be joining the Polish delegation at London Tech Week. If you’ll be there too, let’s meet and talk about technology, recruitment, cybersecurity, and international growth opportunities.
See you in London!
