This week, Winged IT had the pleasure of taking part in Web Summit in Lisbon, one of the world’s most influential technology events. This year, we were proud to be part of the Polish National Booth, joining a group of ten other innovative Polish companies showcasing the strength and potential of our country’s tech ecosystem.

Welcome Cocktail at the Embassy of Poland in Lisbon

Our third Web Summit experience began with an exceptional highlight. We were honored to be invited to the official welcome reception for the Polish delegation, held at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Lisbon.

The evening opened with warm remarks from the Ambassador of Poland, Dorota Barys, Head of the Foreign Trade Office in Lisbon, Dariusz Duda, representatives of the Polish Ministry of Digital Affairs, and the Portuguese hosts, who emphasized the strong ties and growing collaboration between the two countries.

The reception provided a great opportunity to connect with fellow Polish companies and startups who also travelled to Lisbon to promote cutting-edge Polish technology. It was an inspiring and collaborative start to an eventful week.

Web Summit 2025: Innovation, Conversations, and Global Connections

As always, Web Summit did not disappoint. Over the course of three energetic days, we engaged in dozens of meaningful conversations, explored emerging technologies, and listened to thought-provoking talks from global industry leaders.

At the Polish National Booth, organized by the Ministry of Digital Affairs and PAIH, the Winged IT team had the opportunity to present our recruitment and cybersecurity expertise, highlighting Poland’s position as a major European tech hub. We met with many international companies and startups seeking trusted partners and new opportunities in Europe.

We held many insightful discussions with founders, innovators, and technology executives from all over the world. This year’s edition confirmed once again that events like these play a crucial role in building global partnerships.

Culture, Energy, and Flavors of Lisbon

Of course, no trip to Lisbon would be complete without enjoying the city itself. Between meetings and conference sessions, we had a chance to discover Lisbon’s rich cultural heritage, unique architecture, and unforgettable cuisine. The vibrant atmosphere of the city perfectly complemented the innovative spirit of Web Summit.
